PMT worked closely with SITA and Equant to mange
the site survey process to determine the specific requirements
for each Air Canada location. Once requirements were
developed, budgets and schedules were prepared for management
approval. The PMT team managed the contracting process
and coordinated the permitting, installation, configuration
and testing of equipment at sites around the world.
All equipment was provided by Air Canada’s Information
Technology vendor, IBM. The team worked in concert with
IBM’s project management team to coordinate activation
and cut-over activities for the sites to minimize disruptions
to local operations.
PMT was able to deliver this worldwide deployment on
time and on budget for SITA and Air Canada thus reducing
Air Canada/IBM annual network operating costs. |
