Project A-3 Building Migration Project
Challenge To relocate Delta staff from the A-3 Building to other spaces within the Delta General Office Campus; to renovate several floors in the A-3 Building; and to repopulate the facility with minimal loss of productivity.
PM Technologies staff worked closely with the project team to establish an overall project schedule for the relocation of over 1,700 employees.
Solution

Using Primavera Project Planner software, a detailed, graphical plan was created for a phased approach for all relocation, renovation, and turnover activities to allow for successful project completion within an aggressive time frame. PM Technologies coordinated progress meetings for addressing and resolving changes and issues. Weekly communications, including sixty-day look-aheads, provided the planning tools to ensure that all team members were prepared for the tasks assigned to them.
Through detailed planning and continuous communication, the team was able to maximize efficiencies and eliminate unanticipated schedule delays. In spite of a dramatically increased scope of work, PM Technologies played a vital role in the successful, on-time completion of the project.
