| Challenge |
To design and build the $383 million airport expansion,
including a new terminal, concourse, roadway system, tunnels,
people mover, and baggage handling system, while maintaining
full airport operations relative to the movement of personnel,
vehicular and aircraft traffic. |
| Solution |
PMT staff provided a wide range of pre-design, design,
construction management and facility start-up services
including coordination, scheduling, cost controls, logistics,
construction phasing and relocation. Extensive attention
was given to the very complex logistics associated with
the construction of new facilities while maintaining
existing operations.
