Challenge To replace/relocate all existing gate counter millwork at the twenty-six largest Airports served by Delta Air Lines, Inc.
Solution

PM Technologies staff worked with the Airport Customer Service division of Delta to manage the survey, design and construction submittal process, schedule, budget, contract administration and the construction that led to the installation of over 375 new gate counters within a nine month period. PM Technologies assembled a team of twelve project managers and support staff that took the lead in managing the relocation of existing gate counter millwork and the purchase and installation of new gate counter millwork for the purpose of supporting Delta’s new Information Technology platform. PM Technologies provided the facilities expertise and client management skills necessary to remove, relocate and install new gate counter millwork to support the client’s new IT platform with zero downtime in Delta’s flight schedule and no disruption to Delta’s passengers and staff.
