PMT staff conducted project planning sessions, developed
project plans and coordinated the Lucent equipment procurement,
delivery, installation and testing activities with the
Royal Caribbean project team. The new data network,
including routers, hubs and patch panels with frame-relay,
was installed in a temporary facility then relocated
to the permanent call center facility when it was completed.
PMT staff provided on-site project management with technical
expertise to coordinate the data network equipment installation,
which included temporary training facilities, a reservation
center, and wide area network connectivity between the
Wichita & Miami reservation call centers.
