Project Project Management Maturity Assessment – Dallas, TX / Tulsa, OK
Challenge To assess current project management methodologies, processes and specific key organizational issues within SABRE and to develop recommendations for process improvements.
Solution

PMT staff was engaged by SABRE to assess the current level of project management maturity within the Delivery Systems Group, based upon the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge (PMBOK). PMT staff conducted interviews with SABRE project managers and senior management personnel to determine current project management practices. PMT staff reviewed documentation from existing projects and attended project meeting to assess current practices. The results of the maturity assessment and recommendations were then presented to senior management.

PMT staff identified project management issues within SABRE. The implementation of the recommendations enabled SABRE to achieve marked improvement in their project management capabilities.
