PMT worked with Siemens Business Services (SBS) personnel
to develop data center requirements documents. PMT utilized
the requirements to develop bid documents for design,
facilities construction, FF&E and IT equipment and
managed the procurement process. PMT provided on site
project management to coordinate all aspects of the
construction and managed the procurement and installation
of specialized IT equipment including Uninterruptible
Power Systems (UPS), WAN circuits, data back-up systems,
and network management systems. Management of the facilities
start-up an operational testing were also included.
PMT successfully completed the project on-time and
on-budget allowing SBS to begin to offer their value
added services to Siemens operatig companies. |
