Equifax PCI

 The PCI-DSS is a proprietary information security standard utilized by major financial institutions. Equifax Core Software Engineering (CSE) group delivers market-leading B2B and B2C software solutions in the areas of Risk Management, Account Acquisition, Account Management, and Identity & Fraud Management. PCI compliance is a significant component of all CSE Offerings. 

PM Technologies supported several initiatives for Equifax Core Software Engineering group, including PCI compliance audit documentation and Process, prototype development of in-line and online tokenization, and PCI enhancement projects. The PCI compliance audit support met the immediate need to produce documentation and processes for CSE’s software offerings to meet PCI requirements. PMT created documentation along with procedures for document management. 

The online and in-line tokenization project produced prototypes of vendor managed tokenization to simplify PCI compliance requirements. This simplification was done by removing much of CSE’s software from PCI’s scope by cleaning raw data and replacing it with tokenized data. The PCI enhancement projects were several ‘quick wins’ completed as near term improvements to PCI compliance for CSE’s internal customers.
