PM Technologies, in coordination with SITA, orchestrated the design and installation of an eight layer cellular network for Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
THE CHALLENGES
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
- Coordination with both the design team and construction management team to facilitate hardware procurement, infrastructure installation, and systems start-up.
- Integration of the wireless system with the existing backbone infrastructure at HJAIA. The system included CAT5 cabling, fiber optic cabling, transceivers and installation of network management systems.
- The Wi-Fi system provided Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport with 5.56M sf. of wireless data coverage, enabling one of North America’s largest Wi-Fi hotspots to provide revenue producing wireless services to the traveling public.
