THE SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES

PMTechnologies served as the program manager to design and build a new GSE Shop, Washbays, and GSE Fuel Shop for Delta Air Lines. The T-North expansion took over the real estate for where the current GSE shop was located at HJAIA. Delta, in coordination with the DOA, needed to build a new facility on the South Terminal to support plane needs.

The GSE (Ground Service and Maintenance) Shop is a 20,225 sqft space climate-controlled with 11 overhead doors. The shop’s maintenance areas include an extensive oil and lube system with waste oil evacuation pumps and an easy access oil and lube pump room for deliveries. 4 vehicle lifts. 5x 6 ton overhead cranes were also designed into the shop and welding and vehicle exhaust ventilation. The shop also features a 5 part heavy-duty epoxy floor.

The shop space also includes a shared Delta and DOA IT Comm room and offices for: leads, managers, work centers, a multi-purpose/conference-break room, locker rooms, and restrooms. A parts area, tool storage area, mechanical and electrical rooms have also been built into the shop space.

The GSE Fuel System was designed with six underground fuel tanks outside SIDA for easy fuel offload. Other features include a fuel island, three emergency fuel shut-offs throughout the site, and Omntec Proteus X fuel monitoring.

The Triturator/Wash bay building has 2 Wash bays with catwalks. This bay system is Delta’s first recycled water wash rack system (no sewer discharge in wash bays).
